Five & Dime is a laid-back pub on 14th Street in downtown Oakland, a short walk west of Lake Merritt. Grab a burger and a beer, watch the Warriors or the Niners, play a few rounds of Pac-Man, and settle in with your people.
It's from Oakland chef Michele McQueen (Town Fare, Lucy Blue) and co-owner Matt Sturm. The kitchen does comfort food with a soul-food edge, the bar keeps things simple, and every arcade game in the house is free.
